The 13 principles of success

How you can accomplish anything if you just put your mind to it.

If you are a regular consumer of self-improvement guides, you may have already discovered that the underlying principles of success are always the same, just packaged a little differently.

Once you get a hang of them, it is just rinse and repeat. I used one of the OG’s of “self-help,” Napoleon Hill, and his classic Think and Grow Rich, to outline what you need to have and what you need to do in order to achieve pretty much anything you desire.

Here they are, short and sweet.

1. Desire — You have to really want it, like really, really want it.

2. Faith — You have to believe, in your heart of hearts, that you can actually achieve it.

3. Autosuggestion — You have to be so committed that you fixate your mind on what you want to achieve and see yourself as if you have already achieved it.

4. Specialized Knowledge — You have to determine what knowledge you need to achieve it and identify where you can obtain that knowledge.

5. Imagination — You have to be creative about how you will achieve it.

6. Organized Planning — You have to have an organized plan to achieve it.

7. Decision — You have to be committed to following your plan by taking action to achieve it.

8. Persistence — You must continue taking action by following your plan or making necessary adjustments to your plan, but all in all, you must continue to take action in the direction of achieving your goal.

9. Power of the Master Mind — You must identify and organize a collective of people who can help you achieve your goal.

10. The Mystery of Sex Transmutation — You must funnel all your energy and desires into the achievement of your goal.

11. The Subconscious Mind — The more you tell yourself you can achieve it, visualize yourself achieving it, think, eat, and breathe achieving it, your mind will work with the universe to find a way to make it happen.

12. The Brain — You must learn to control your thoughts and replace any thoughts that do not serve the purpose of achieving your goal with those that do.

13. The Sixth Sense — You must learn to tap into, listen to, and trust the notions that come from your subconscious.

There you have it. Apply these 13 principles to any goal and you will find success at the other end.

There are no shortcuts, no fast passes, and no other way but to be fully committed and press on until you reach your goal.

Anything is doable, you just have to do it. Let me be your example.

Make it count. Make it remarkable. Engage your drive to make it happen.
